The Paul Reed Smith SE Paul Allender Signature electric guitar features a racy double-cutaway body with a mahogany back and an outstanding flamed maple veneer top. The 24-fret wide-thin maple neck with ebony fretboard is smooth and responsive. The PRS Paul Allender Signature electric guitar includes a PRS-designed tremolo that lets you dive-bomb like crazy and stay in tune. High output EMG-89 treble humbucker and EMG-81TW bass humbucking pickup provide crunch and tones. Paul Allender bat inlays, rather than the sedate PRS birds, provide a distinctive touch.

Paul Allender, lead guitarist of the band Cradle of Filth, has a unique un-tought style. Paul didn't take any lessons when he was starting out on the guitar, allowing him to develop his own style with his strict right hand rhythm technique and his chromatic writing style. Paul Allender's sound is easily identifiable.

Paul started playing PRS when he left Cradle of Filth and started the Blood Divine. He purchased a second hand Paul Reed Smith CE-24 guitar and used it exclusively throughout the Blood Devine's days and brought it with him when he rejoined Cradle of Filth. He then sent a design of his own to PRS which features a purple and black sunburst on a curly maple top and replaced the traditional bird inlays with bats for a darker but still classic PRS look. PRS built the guitar for Allender as a private stock model, but it eventually made it to production as an SE model.
