Take it Away Finance

Take it away is an Arts Council England initiative designed to help more people get involved in learning and playing music. The scheme allows individuals to apply for a loan from £100 up to £2,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument, and pay it back in nine monthly instalments, completely interest free subject to a minimum £10% Deposit.

Academy of sound are now a member of the scheme and are actively promoting this to allo everyone easy financial access to musical instruments. This is for everyone, if your starting out, picking up an istrument again or buying a musical instrument for a member of your family. This is a great way to affording your musical instrument.

This finance is available to all United Kingdom residents over 18 years old who are employed, self employed or retiired, this also applys to persons and students over 18 years old working more than 16 hours per week. So persons from England Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland can apply for the Art Council England "Take it Away" Finance at Academy of Sound.

If you have seen a product on our website you may also contact us for this finance and we can do the proposal over the telephone. You will still need to pay the 10% deposit via our website and you should also be aware of the rules governing finance on mail order or internet purchases. You have 14days cooling off period by UK Law and yu are within your rights to cancel your finance any time during the 14 days. We therefore send your goods 14 days after the finance has been signed off by both you the customer and Academy of Sound.

The core item of any purchase must be a musical instrument and PA, Amplifiers Microphones and accrssories can only be purchased if the reason is to be used inconjunction with an instrument being purchased at the same time.

Should you be after somthing in excess of £2000.00 for example a £2400.00 premuim instrument you can still opt for the 0% Take it Away Finance you would just have to pay £400 deposit as the maximum loan is £2000.00
